            General Terms and conditions

1. By accessing this site, entering our premises, effecting any payment or deposit, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of Online Furnishers.
2. These terms and conditions are not exhaustive and are subject to change.
3. Colour of items depicted on the website does vary from each device used due to a variety of factors. The colour may also differ to the actual colour in store.
4. The inability of The Store to provide the exact colour requested does not constitute a material breach of the agreement.

Sale Terms and Conditions:
1. All items that are on sale or marked down, carry no warrantee or warranty and are sold as is
2. Each warrantee is item specific, please refer to our full set of terms and conditions for further details
3. We require a 50% deposit prior to placing any order with our factory
4. SPECIAL ORDER GOODS:
a. Special order goods are made as per your exact specifications and in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, you
may not return these goods. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have measured your room space and
ensure that the correct measurements are provided to us, in centimeters. You may only cancel due to a material
breach on the part of Furniture 101.
b. Orders placed are irrevocable once we place the order with our supplier
5. It is the customers sole responsibility to ensure that any item purchased will fit into the room and further it is your responsibility to ensure that the doorway and passage is large enough for delivery of the item.
6. Whilst every reasonable care is taken to ensure that we deliver the exact colour that you ordered, colours and spray tint and upholstery material may differ and we will manufacture your order using the closest colour possible to your requested colour.

Layby Conditions:
1. Layby’s are accepted over a period of 6 months and are interest free. Laybys are accepted from R 20.00 and payable in any denomination over the 6 months
2. The Layby locks the price for the duration of the layby
3. A layby may be cancelled at any time prior to collection (or the expiry date, whichever comes first), however this will carry a cancellation cost, please refer to the cancellation clause below
4. No layby can be collected between 1 December to 15 January as factory are closed during
this period. Should you require your items during this period, please make the necessary arrangements with our store manager by no later then 7 November
5. We require 2 weeks’ notice to fulfill our obligation in terms of the layby. This period may be extended for special orders.

Indemnity:
1. Each person enters the store at their own risk. Online Furnishers, “The Store” accepts no liability against any loss or harm incurred either directly or indirectly as a result of our actions or any other cause whatsoever
Delivery:
1. The store does not offer an in-house delivery service, all deliveries are outsourced and charged for.
2. The delivery fee is not included in the purchase price, unless otherwise indicated
3. The Store has negotiated fair delivery prices for the customer and we offer a free delivery facilitation service.
4. The Store is not a party to the delivery agreement between the Delivery company and the customer
5. Should we provide delivery to you, we will only deliver to the ground floor if there is no suitable elevator access. Our staff are not equipped to hoister furniture above balconies or up narrow stairwells. We will assist to assemble the products and set if arranged prior to delivery with management.
6. Notwithstanding the above, The Store will not be held liable for any loss or damage to any items or any person caused by the delivery whether directly or indirectly.
7. The Store is indemnified against any damage once the goods have left our store premises and whilst in transit
8. It is the sole responsibility of the customer to inspect the goods prior to the store dispatching and or delivering such goods. We will not be held accountable for any return delivery costs or resultant damage if the goods are not properly inspected prior to dispatch. This is subject to any warranty or warrantee
9. The Store will not be held liable for any delivery costs, including the cost of delivery for any products being returned or exchanged for any reason whatsoever

Cancellation and refunds:
1. Any item may be returned within 7 days of purchase, provided that the following conditions are met;
a. The item is in the same condition as from date of delivery
b. All goods must be accompanied by original packaging.
c. The original invoice for the purchase must be produced.
d. The Store will not accept returns of beds or pillows for health reasons.
2. Should the condition of the goods be different from the original, management will obtain a quote for the cost of repair which will be for the customers account
3. The Store will not be liable for delivery costs incurred in the case of cancellation, exchanges or refunds
4. Should you wish to cancel a layby prior to the expiry period, the store will charge an administrative fee which is equal to 10% of the amount paid
5. Should you cancel a special order or a lay by for which a special order was given, The Store will charge a cancellation fee of 40% of the purchase price to defray costs incurred
6. Should we agree to refund a special order purchase due to product quality or lead times, the customer will be liable for a reasonable cancellation fee, calculated on the price charged for the special order
7. Any cancellation or repair cost will be deducted from the amount to be refunded
8. Should you fail to complete the layby, all amounts paid will be forfeited at the end of the layby term, subject to prevailing laws in the Republic of South Africa
9. The Store will effect any refund into a valid South African bank account within 5 business days from date of request.
10. Valid identification may be required for refunds to be effected.

LAY BYS
1. Definition of lay by – a method of payment whereby the customer purchases a product and pays for the product over a period of time. The customer will only obtain possession and delivery of the item once the full price has been paid for in full

A lay by is a contractual agreement and it is the customers obligation to ensure that payment is completed by the end of the 6 months, if the payment is not completed, the contract will be deemed to be cancelled and any monies paid will be forfeited. Should you be unable to complete the lay by within the 6 months, please contact the manager of the store where you placed the lay by to make alternative arrangement.
8. No credit check is done when you apply for a layby.

PRODUCT WARRANTEES
1. All items that are on sale or marked down or if a discount is provided, carry no warrantee or warranty and are sold as is
2. Each warrantee is item specific.
3. We provide a 12 month a warrantee against the structure of our couches, headboards and chairs.
4. We do not warrantee glass or wooden finish
5. We warrantee the frame of all wooden items purchased for a period of 12 months. The wooden finish is not warranted.
6. We provide a 12 months warrantee against any mechanism used in our furniture (e.g. reclining mechanism, door hinges and runners)
7. We do not warrantee material or foam of any of the items sold as this is sourced from third party factory.
8. Our beds carry a minimum of 7 years manufacturer warranty, unless otherwise stated

RETURNS AND REFUNDS POLICY
1. Any item may be returned within 7 days of purchase, provided that the following conditions are met;
a. The item is in the same condition as from date of delivery
b. All goods must be accompanied by original packaging.
c. The original invoice for the purchase must be produced.
d. The Store will not accept returns of beds or pillows for health reasons.
2. Should the condition of the goods be different from the original, The Store will obtain a quote from the supplier to attend to the repair of the item(s). The cost of such repair shall be for the customer’s account. Only a Online  Furnishers supplier may attend to the repair
3. The Store will not be liable for delivery costs incurred in the case of cancellation, exchanges or refunds
4. Should you wish to cancel a layby prior to the expiry period, the store will charge an administrative fee which is equal to 10% of the amount paid
5. Should you cancel a special order or a lay by for which a special order was given, The Store will charge a cancellation fee of 40% of the purchase price to defray costs incurred

Online Furnishers reserves the right to cancel your order if conditions prohibit us from obtaining/manufacturing your goods, the customer will have no claim for any direct or indirect damage(s) which you may have incurred as a result thereof. Your only recourse will be a claim for a refund of the deposit paid

CREDIT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Online  Furnishers is not a registered credit provider and uses the services of an external third party to provide credit. Please note that we are not a party to the credit agreement between the customer and the third party and accept no liability for any loss or damage caused directly or indirectly by the third party or as a result of such transaction.

MISSION STATEMENT /ABOUT US
 We manufacture most of our products in our factory. The remainder of our products are sourced using local suppliers, thereby growing our local economy and supporting small businesses. Less than 5% of our stock is imported. We prefer supporting the small businesses as those are the guys who need our support the most.

Our factory was born out of our drive to support local entrepreneurs. We are proudly BEE compliant.
Using the family values that we grew up with, we understand the need to provide good quality products at an affordable price. Each customer is important to us and we always strive to make each customer happy with their purchase and experience at Furniture 101.

DELIVERY INFORMATION
Please contact us for delivery rates if you are not certain how much your delivery will be. We do deliver nationally. Delivery prices are excluded from our prices advertised. You may also arrange collection from any of our stores
